The 1. FSV Mainz 05 invites its fans to the season opening on the Market and Liebfrauenplatz. There awaits a diverse program for the fans, ranging from team presentations to live music. The event takes place on Sunday, 16. August, at 13:00. The fans can look forward to a team presentation, a family program with face painting, penalty shooting, and a soccer cage. The live music will be provided by the Humbas, Oliver Mager, and Schall & Rauch. Additionally, there will be a sale of the new jerseys with the possibility of flocking. There will also be a Polaroid station, a raffle from „Mainz05 hilft“, table tennis, e-sports, handball, and amputee football. Those who have always wanted to see the team bus from the inside will have the opportunity to do so. The FSV Mainz 05 returns to the heart of the city after a year before the 2026/27 season.
