The loan of Konstantin Schopp was extended by Mainz 05. The 20-year-old defender will therefore play for TSV Hartberg next season.

Why is this important for Mainz 05?

The extension of the loan gives Konstantin Schopp the opportunity to continue playing at a high level in the Austrian Bundesliga and gain valuable experience. Mainz 05 sports director Niko Bungert explains: „Konstantin is a very great defensive talent. We are convinced that he has all the prerequisites to make a name for himself in the German Bundesliga in the future.“
