Mainz 05 will be without first-choice goalkeeper Robin Zentner once again. The 31-year-old has sustained another injury, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

The goalkeeper's injury woes continue unabated. Zentner, who has not featured so far this season, will miss the upcoming fixtures. For manager Bo Henriksen, this forces another reshuffle to his starting lineup, just four days after the 1-3 home defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Squad situation ahead of Gladbach clash

This leaves the Zerofiver with further personnel headaches ahead of Saturday's away match at Borussia Mönchengladbach (15:30). Alongside Zentner, Dominik Kohr, Eric Martel, Silas and Silvan Widmer are also sidelined. The current standings show Mainz in 8th place with four points from three games. However, their recent form of three wins, one draw and one defeat from the last five matches provides cause for optimism. The full schedule is available on our fixtures page.

In Zentner's absence, Finn Dahmen is expected to take over in goal. The 27-year-old started the first three Bundesliga matches, conceding three goals. The team travels with the intention of continuing their positive away form, most recently a 5-0 win in Hamburg. Facing the 17th-placed side from Mönchengladbach presents an opportunity to build on their solid defensive record of six goals scored and three conceded so far. An overview of the squad list is available in our squad section.
